As the traffic sign says as vehicles disembark from the vehicular ferry onto Waiheke Island -
"Slow Down. You've Arrived".
It's that simple.
Where else in the world would you find a parking sign which tells you that there is a limit of 1,440 minutes for that spot? And , Oh - there are no traffic lights .......
Invariably, visitors fall in love with Waiheke Island. Our only advice would be that you allow several days for your visit. But if you must, we will give you advice on how to make the most out of whatever duration you have here on the Island ....
